Observe your mind. It works 24/7.  Even when you are sleeping, it dreams!  How tiring for the physical and the mental system of our body. Just imagine sleepless nights forever. The mind is so spent out it needs recharging and meditation does that.

During meditation, every other system goes into low maintenance and all the focus is on one thought or part of your that requires full attention to healing.  The blood flow is maximum to the attempted part.
We know this that anything that gets love and attention simply flourishes.
